My Friend, Angus, Did Many Things With Me Including Being My Canine Chef Assistant
Angus liked learning new things, including helping me as my canine chef assistant. He was my business partner and this clip was to help get the word out, in a fun way, on a menu plan book. Angus loved learning new things and he was willing to do just about anything. He was trained to do little tricks for people living in assisted living and loved the attention, in addition, to helping me discover more enjoyable ways to deliver a message related to a business endeavor.
Thought I’d share this clip we made when he was part of Aussie Antics Ministry. Boots joined him at the end of the clip, but she was too frightened to be on the counter, so I haven’t done anymore cooking with her. She prefers some other tricks that are more fun for her.

Apple Chicken Stir Fry
There are numerous Apple Chicken Stir Fry recipes out there, but this one is a little taste of salt and a little taste of sweet. Great flavor and appetizing aroma.
1 pound cubed boneless, skinless chicken breast
1/2 cup onion, vertically sliced
1 3/4 cups carrots, thinly sliced
1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1 cup fresh or frozen Chinese pea pods
1 tablespoon water
1 medium baking apple, cored and thinly sliced
1 tablespoon oil
2 cups cooked brown rice
1. Cook cubed chicken breast in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in nonstick skillet until lightly browned and cooked. Remove from skillet.
2. Cook onion, carrots and basil in oil in same skillet until carrots are tender. Stir in pea pods and water. Stir-fry 2 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and stir in apple. Add to chicken.
4. Serve hot over cooked rice.
It is a different recipe and pretty easy to prepare.
