Dogs Teach Us About Life And A Great Many Things
Dogs teach us about life, like listening, for example. You can sit and talk to your dog and they perk their ears toward you. Maybe they tilt their head trying to understand just what you are saying. They might know all the words you speak to them, but they listen intently for words they do.
In the video below, it shows us what dogs teach us about life.
They teach us that exercise can be fun. And they love when we join them. It is good for us and them. It helps bind us together when we exercise together.
Oh yes… And they teach us how to truly relax. I have wished many times that I could relax so carefree as my dog. I might have to wait for heaven for that feeling, but it is something to work toward.
Of course, to love. Dogs love with such an unconditional type of love. Many humans sadly will never get this from another human or even know how to give this to another.
To share. Of course, some dogs are better at this than others.
Indeed dogs teach us how to overcome. I have frequently been amazed at how a dog can take disabilities and hardships in stride, not letting them slow them down.
The loyalty of a dog can be hard to match. They also teach us how to say good-bye.
They help us to heal.
They show us how to be a hero.
Dogs Teach Us About Enjoying Life
And last, but not least, they can teach us how to enjoy life. My little dog friend who inspired me to write, Until Heaven Then My Friend loved life. His zest for life is what I miss most I think. He enjoyed everything we did, didn’t really matter what it was. Losing him affected my other dog in the same way. It took months to perk up. It was his vibrant energy that we both missed. Dogs know how to enjoy life and in today’s world, that’s a valuable thing to learn.
