Can Horses Help In Healing?
In our last post, we shared a story about Samson, the Shetland pony, who visits and brings joy to people in nursing homes. Horses help people in other ways, besides the practical ways of getting us from point A to point B. This is another related article from CBN that shows how God has made animals a special part of our lives.

I’ve heard it said, “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a person.”
Horses are very social and have roles in their herds, some might say similar to humans. They have relationships with one another. Horses are curious, honest, unbiased, intuitive, playful and powerful beings.
Horses, being prey animals, are constantly examining their environment so they can determine if they are safe. They can transfer this special intuitive ability that allows them to read humans’ behavior and feelings. They can relate to us by matching these feelings they sense. This can make for interesting relationships with horses.
