Humans Are Strange, But Fun, Yes?
For some baffling reason, God has set us apart. From the beginning of time, He has wanted to have a relationship with us. I just find that amazing, no matter how often I think of that.
I think it is so very important that we understand who we are in Christ. That we are part of God’s adopted family. Of course, if you don’t want to be, he doesn’t force you.
As for me, I want to be with the one who loves me. With the one who from the beginning of existence, has mapped out a plan for me, so that I would be able to be in paradise with Him. I don’t understand everything, not by a long shot, but I can clearly see that He does love me, even though I haven’t been perfect. Good to know that we all fall short of His glory, yet His grace and mercy abound. How grateful we all can be that He sent Jesus to be our Savior. He showed us first hand who He was, how much He loved us and that He wanted to provide a Way, so once and for all, the path to God would be clear and available to anyone who wanted it. It is not by works, so no one can boast. It is a gift from God. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Anyone who trusts in Him and accepts His gift of salvation has eternal life.
I am so thankful that I don’t have to be perfect. I am thankful that His word has shown us great men and women who have gone before us. Men and women that loved God dearly, but weren’t perfect by any means. We will be okay. God loves us. While on this earth, it will not always go splendidly and there is much we won’t understand, but it is clear that those who want to be in heaven will surely be there when our time is up. We simply need to trust in the Lord, our Savior. Holding onto that helps through the rough and confusing times on earth.
On this blog, I talk about the Lord, people and dogs. It is evident that dogs mean a lot to many people. I believe they can help people be closer to Jesus. Ultimately, that is what it is all about. That is why I started writing about it.
I hope you visit here often and that you can be encouraged in your walk each time. You won’t find anything fancy here, but it is real and sincere.
