Where Do We Fit Into A World With Morals And Integrity Graying?

In a world with morals and integrity graying, can clearness of right and wrong even be seen anymore?

When told a statistic that 56% of evangelical Christians now believe there are multiple ways to God when God’s word clearly and unequivocally says there is only one way, through Jesus. Have the lines blurred that much?

Have we allowed the ever increasing political correctness and removal of Judea-Christian values cloud the truth that was once in our heart and souls?

World With Morals And Integrity Graying

Here are a few scriptures that leave no room for doubt.

All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son…. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest (Mt. 11:27-28).

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this; to believe in the one he has sent” (Jn. 6:29).

I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never thirst…. My Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day (Jn. 6:35, 40).

I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life (Jn. 8:12).

I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die (Jn. 11:25-26).

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well (Jn. 14:6-7a).

Granted, life is not easy. Sometimes it weighs heavy upon each of us in a variety of ways. I think it has a tendency to numb our very souls. Maybe that’s sets up the soil when this grayness tries to seep in. We may not always have the energy to stop it, but you got to keep trying so it doesn’t overtake your good sense and rob you of truth.

Praise be to the Lord who knows the battles we face each and every day. Hold fast to Him. Cling to Him come what may. This is the only way to rise above a world with morals and integrity graying.
